Trailers were at first appeared after, or "trailing", the element film, and this prompted their being designated as "trailers". The trailing was discovered to be fairly inadequate, frequently overlooked by crowds who left following the element.

Nowadays Trailers were released before the movie release to marketing and for making movie hipe in public.
